Victorian homes have a unique charm, but many come with challenges - poor insulation, outdated heating systems, and materials that does not support modern energy efficiency. Our team tackled these challenges head-on combining traditional craftmanship with cutting-edge sustainable building solutions.

Breathable and Highly insulated Walls.

To improve energy efficiency without compromising the building's breathablity, we incorporated Steico wood fiber insulation throughout the property. Steice insulation is natural, renewable and highly effective at reducing heat loss while allowing moisture to escape, prevently condensation and protecting the integrity of the orignal structure.

Complementing this, we applied lime plaster internally. Lime plaster is a traditional materials that naturally regulates humidity, enhances indoors air quality, and works harmoniously with the breathable insulation to maintain a healthy, comfortable environment.

Efficient, Sustainable Heating.

A key part of this renovation was installing an air source heat pump, which provides low-carbon, highly efficient heating. by leveraging renewable energy from the air, the heat pump ensures consistent warmth throughout the home while signficantly reducing the property's carbon footprint.
